KATHMANDU: Prime Minster Dr Baburam Bhattarai has reached Thapathali-based Norvic International hospital on Sunday to take a stock of the former Prime Minster Surya Bahadur Thapa’s health condition.
Thapa who had a heart attack on Saturday morning at Sano Gaucharan, and was rushed to Norvic, is now out of the ventilator and is breathing on his own, following the implantation of a pacemaker in his chest today.
Earlier today, Vice Chairman of Rastriya Janashakti Party Prakash Chandra Lohani, former Home Minister Bhim Rawal, Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hridayesh Tripathi had thronged the hospital to enquire the health condition of Thapa.
