One missing in Bhojpur mudslide

BHOPPUR: One person went missing and another one injured when a landslide triggered by incessant rain swept away a cowshed, on Saturday night, in Bhojpur.


Tek Bahadur Rai, a resident of Khatma VDC-8 has been missing and Brishna Rai, daughter of Jog Bahadur Rai was injured in the landslide, police Inspector Achyut Pudasaini informed. “The injured is being treated at a local health post,” police said, adding, “the landslide had also swept a house of one, Nara Bahadur Rai.” A team of police for the rescue operation has been deployed already, the police confirmed.
