KATHMANDU: “I am coming to Kathmandu on November 30. Be there!” Pakistani singer Atif Aslam informed. Indeed this renowned singer will be in Kathmandu and he will be mesmerising the Valley and its people with his popular numbers on November 30 in Atif Aslam Live in Nepal which will be held at Dasarath Stadium. And his message was delivered on November 28 at the Atif Aslam Live in Nepal Press Meet held at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat through a video clip. The press meet was called by ODC Entertainment that is organising the concert in association with The Himalayan Times.
The Pakistani sensation will perform for two hours with his band. That means the stadium will resound with numbers like Aadat, Woh Lamhe, Tere Bin, Pahile Nazar Mein among others. He will be arriving the same day. Meanwhile the Nepali instrumental band Upendra and Friends will be opening the concert for the singer. Aslam has carved his niche in his home country and Bollywood with his soulful voice and touching songs.
“He is a hit in Asia. He is famous in Bollywood which is why we have chosen him,” Simant Gurung CEO of ODC Entertainment shared. Furthermore, he informed that “we want to cater different taste. We did English bands and we wanted to try Bollywood”.
With fans of Bollywood and Aslam in Nepal, a crowd of 25,000 is expected to take part in the concert that starts from 4:00 pm.
Tickets are priced at Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500.
