Next budget thru consensus: Pun

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has said that the budget of the next fiscal year 2069-70 BS will be brought with consensus of all the political parties.
At a press meet organised at the Finance Ministry here today, Minister Pun said efforts of consensus are being made among parties as there is no parliament this time.
He said budget will be brought by discussing with in-charges looking after economic sector of major political parties.
Pun also claimed said the country's overall economy was heading towards positive direction and environment for investment was being made.
He informed that Rs. 190 billion of revenue was collected until April which is 98.62 percent.
The government expenditure is Rs. 190.42 billion which is 49.47 percent of the appropriated amount.
