DHADING: The Nepal-China Himalayan Friendship Society has opened its branch office in Dhading district also.
A gathering held in the presence of the Society's central member Khem Prasad Lohani constituted the 11-member Dhading district branch of the Society under the chairmanship of Prem Tamang.
Umesh Thapa is the vice-president, Hariram Lohani the general secretary, Bina Mamba the joint secretary and Kanchha Lama the treasurer of the district branch.
The branch office has been opened in Dhading district as part of the Society's programme of establishing its branches in the 15 districts of the country sharing border with China.
The objective of the Society is to strengthen the cultural and trade relations between Nepal and China.
