Nepal to take on Sri Lanka today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is all set to play against hosts Sri Lanka in the semi-final of the second SAFF Women’s Championship at the CR & FC grounds in Colombo on Friday.
Nepal had hammered Sri Lanka 8-0 during the 11th South Asian Games in Dhaka in 2000.
This is the first time Nepal reached the knockout stages in any international football with comprehensive wins over Pakistan, Maldives, and Afghanistan.
Sri Lanka made the way to semis by beating Bhutan 4-0 and edging Bangladesh though they were crushed by India 5-0.
In another semi-finals, India will play against Afghanistan.
