KATHMANDU: Nepal are locking horns with Turkmenistan, and Iraq with Bahrain in their last and crucial matches of the Group ‘C’ of the AFC U-16 Qualifiers in the Capital on Sunday.
Iraq and Bahrain are playing at the Dasharath Stadium at 2 pm, while the Nepal-Turkmenistan will be played at the same stadium at 5 pm.
With a win and a draw, both Nepal and Iraq have garnered four points, while Bahrain have three points.
Iraq, however, top the group based on the goal difference.
If Nepal beat Turkmenistan and Bahrain beat or held Iraq in a draw, Nepal would be qualified to the AFC U-16 Championship.

In their first matches, Nepal beat Bahrain 2-0 and Iraq crushed Turkmenistan 8-1. Nepal held Iraq 2-2 in their second match, while Bahrain beat Turkmenistan 3-1.
Nepal scored four goals and conceded two, while Iraq scored 10 and conceded three.
