KATHMANDU: The National Planning Commission (NPC) on Thursday has made public the reports it has prepared on four different themes.
NPC Vice-chairperson Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri has released the reports that include evaluation of Karnali employment programme, overall model of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), evaluation of social security allowance programme in Nepal and outcomes of expenditures in primary schools.
It is expected that the reports prepared with the technical and financial assistance of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) would be helpful for policy makers and implementers to formulate plans and programmes.
On the occasion, subject experts including Tulasi Neupane, Dr. Ram Sharan Kharel, Dr. Devendra Shrestha and Baburam Shrestha had rendered comments on the reports.
Vice-chairperson Chhetri expressed hope that the publications would be a guide for charting out future development plans.
