KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) today, cut the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene. A board meeting of NOC held this evening reduced the price of petrol by Rs 2.50 per litre, and the prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs two each per litre. However, it has not made any changes on the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).
With this revision, petrol will cost Rs 125.50 per litre, while diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 99.50 per litre respectively.
The new prices will come into effect on Tuesday and following these price adjustments, NOC’s monthly profit will go up at Rs 181.70 million from Rs 171.50 million at present, according to NOC Spokesperson Mukund Ghimire.
