KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) on Saturday hiked the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel.
However, the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains unchanged.
According to NOC, the prices of kerosene and diesel have been increased by Rs.one per litre, whereas the price of petrol has been increased by Rs.two per litre. Similarly, price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs. 10 per litre.
As per the new price structure, the price of petrol reached Rs. 125 per litre, with the previous price being Rs.123 per litre.
Likewise, the prices of diesel and kerosene reached Rs. 100 per litre. Previously the prices of both fuels were Rs.99 per litre.
Similarly, the price of aviation fuel reached Rs.130 per litre. Previously it was Rs.120.
The prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel had to be increased due to the rise of petroleum prices in the international market, according the NOC.
