KATHMANDU: Nepal National and International Players Association (NNIPA) today handed over a memorandum to PM Madhav Kumar Nepal seeking assistance for the treatment of Manju Tuladhar.

The NNIPA President Deepak Bista thanked the government for assisting in the treatment of former volleyball international Dinesh Baniya and sought a similar help for the Nepali taekwondo international Tuladhar. The eighth South Asian Federation Games silver medallist Tuladhar has been diagnosed with failed kidneys and is undergoing regular dialysis. She needs transplantation at the earliest.

Tuladhar has also won gold at the second National Games in 1983 apart from bronze medals at the Asian Taekwondo Championship in 1998 and the third National Games in 1985.
