NEFIN draws CA chair's attention towards its demands

KATHMANDU: A delegation of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) on Monday met Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang and drew his attention towards the demands raised by the Federation.
Promulgation of the new constitution within May 27, ensuring the rights of indigenous nationalities, no-extension of the CA term and no-reduction to the number of provinces as proposed by the CA Committee are among those demands put forth by the Federation.
The delegation was led by Federation President Raj Kumar Lekhi.
In response CA chairman Nembang urged the delegation to support from their respective capacity to conclude the peace process and thereby drafting the new constitution within the slated time.
