NC sniffs conspiracy in Capital blast

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress said on Tuesday that the bomb blast in front of the gate of Nepal Oil Corporation in the Capital was a conspiracy by those elements aiming to push the country towards instability.
Three persons were killed and seven others injured in the blast that took place near the country’s main administrative hub Singha Durbar on Monday afternoon.
Issuing a press statement today, the party said that no terrorist elements have succeeded in fulfilling their demands through such activities and pointed out the need of being united against such incidents.
Expressing solidarity with the families of the victims the NC has wished for quick recovery of the injured.
The party has also demanded action by the government against the culprit, adequate compensation to victims’ kin and treatment of the injured.
Condemning the fatal bomb blast the party has urged the government to upgrade the peace and security situation in the country.
