KATAHMANDU: A meeting of the Nepali Congress held at its party headquarters in Sanepa on Thursday has formed a seven-member taskforce under the coordination of Central Committee member Bhim Bahadur Tamang to resolve the grievances of the disgruntled ethnic leaders of the party.
The taskforce has been given a month’s time to sort out the issue, a source privy to the meeting said.
The ethnic and Madhesi leaders of the Nepali Congress have been mounting pressure on the party to reconsider its views for the cause of federalism based on single ethnic identity.
