My sister‚ my inspiration

It feels really great to wake up on a positive note. Remembering the great people and their struggles and then their achievements. I am a dreamer and I love dreaming in the world of

possibility.

Every morning, I listen to positive songs, freshen up, have tea and read positive books. Today is Saturday. It has been only four days since my cousin (sister) Asma Shafeer along with her lovable husband and her angel-like daughter have come to Nepal. The day before I talked to her on the phone and I promised her that I’d meet her today.

After attending my literary club session, I headed to Nayabazaar where they are staying. I was excited, happy and nervous as it has been three years since we last met. This time was new for me and her. We both have changed and also that she is a beautiful mother of a cute and sweet daughter Ahana and I have become a Mamu Jaan — uncle.

My cousin is my inspiration. She is the one who I idolise because she has achieved her dreams but it was not so easy. She has gone through lot of struggles. She was a good student at school. She used to study hard but sadly her parents did not understand her better then. But now they love her more than anything else.

There was also a time when her parents could not pay the tuition fees. I also remember the hard and tough time that she had gone through. Way back she was so frustrated, came to our grandmother’s home and started crying and banging her head on the wall. Her parents did not understand her zeal and passion. However, she never compromised on her dream. She started working to fulfil her desires. She wanted to be a teacher and she fulfiled that dream too. She also dreamt of a respectable life with a name and money. Though all her dreams have not been achieved, she is living a respectable life. I always respected her but my respect and love have doubled. Her life is like an inspirational book as it has both struggles and success which we can learn from and implement in our life.
