CHITWAN: A motorcyclist died when a truck mowed him down at Kabilas-2, Dasdhunga in Chitwan.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Thapa of Gorkha, Namjung, police confirmed.

Critically injured after the incident, Thapa succumbed to injuries at 8.45 PM on Saturday night.

The Narayangarh-bound truck (Na 2 Kha 4278) from Kathmandu had knocked the motorcycle (Ba 19 Pa 2250) coming from the opposite direction.
