More ministries allocated

KATHMANDU: Political parties on Friday agreed to allocate four ministries — Defence, Law, Local Development and General Administration — to Nepali Congress and Finance, Education, Peace and Reconstruction and Land Reforms to the Unified CPN-Maoist. NC Vice-president Ramchandra Paudel said the two ministers of NC will distribute the responsibilities of four ministries allocated to the party for the time being since an NC-led government is on cards. United Democratic Madhesi Front has already bagged Home, Physical Planning, Information and Communications, Health and Irrigation portfolios.
