KATHMANDU: MoneyGram — a leading global money transfer company — now has a global network of more than 310,000 agent locations, following a year of significant network and channel growth. MoneyGram recently reported money transfer fee and other revenue constant currency growth of 13 per cent and transaction growth of 14 per cent for the fourth quarter and full year 2012. This strong growth over the last several years has been fuelled by a growing agent network. During the past 30 months, MoneyGram has added 100,000 agent locations and since 2007, it has more than doubled its network. Last year, it added more than 43,000 agent locations.
Citizens in Hetauda
KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International has opened its 34th branch at Parijat Path of Hetauda in Makwanpur district. The bank will also be adding an ATM unit at the branch soon, it said. It has already launched branchless banking services in 30 rural areas and is planning to start the service in all the 14 zones of the country in the near future.
Skoda exchange camp
KATHMANDU: Škoda MAW will organise an exchange camp on March 13-16 at its Thapathali showroom. During the camp, services like easy exchange process, easy financing support, instant delivery and best on-the-spot valuation facilities by reputed recondition houses will be offered. Škoda Fabia will be available for exchange with old vehicles, the company said in a press note.
