I live since 35 years in Nepal, especially in the mountain area. I am used to travel alone, having the experience to du it and knowing the trails to perfection. I participated several times to find back foreigners, and each time the same problem.....no guide ! I am always surprised to meet foreign girls alone on the trail. The have no experience, do not know the trail and sleep in the local porter houses. This is really looking for trouble. I feel sorry for this girl, but there is no reason to travel alone in Langtang. You can cheap hire a good guide/porter for this area in Kahtmandu. There is not only the risk, travelling alone to get in problems locals due to bad behaviour or provocative clothing but having health problems. Sorry.....no excuse for travelling alone.
