KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Planning and Works Hridayesh Tripathi has said the government was planning to appoint 16 people, who were victims of the Madhesh movement, in different government bodies.
The Ministry of Physical Planning and Works has already taken such a decision to appoint them from martyrs’ families and other victims of the Madhesh movement, said Minister Tripathi.
He said the government has been doing homework to make the Nepal Army an inclusive institution.
On a different note, he said the seven-point agreement was signed based on the four-point agreement signed during the Bhattarai-led government formation. He added that the peace and constitution writing process would be affected if the government was not formed under the Maoist leadership. He was for changing Dr. Baburam Bhattarai-led government into the national consensus one to conclude the ongoing peace process.
