Mechi feels impact of triple strike

BHADRAPUR: Normal life in Mechi zone including Jhapa district was affected from early morning today due the bandh called by not one but three organisations including the indigenous nationalities, Birhat Madhesi Morcha and Muslim Organization.
The bandh enforcers have not allowed motorcycles to ply today even as they were allowed in earlier bandhs.
The bandh enforcers have been occupying bazaar areas of Birtamod, Kakadbhitta and Damak since morning and these towns including Bhadrapur have been shut down.
However, good news is that schools in Jhapa are operating as usual in the period of strike as per the agreement in an all-party meeting held under the initiative of the local Peace Committee.
