Marijuana destroyed in Hetauda

HETAUDA: Police destroyed around 80 quintals of marijuana and 17 quintals of opium at Raksirang-2 of Makawanpur district on Saturday night.
The District Police Office, Makawanpur had deputed a team comprising 50 police personnel headed by Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Ram Kumar Thapa to destroy illegal marijuana and opium.
Farmers have been commercially cultivating marijuana and opium in some of the VDCs of the northern belt of the district.
