Maoists, MJF cadres hurt

RAJBIRAJ: More than a dozen cadres of the UCPN-Maoist and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum injured when the police resorted to action after they tried to show black flags to Shatrughan Prasad Singh, State Minister for Civil Aviation, here in Rajbiraj today.
Minister Singh had reached Siraha to unveil a statue of Bishwokarma inside the local office of Nepal Electricity Authority. Five Maoist cadres were injured in the clash near Suryanarayan-Satyanarayan Campus.
The MJF cadres protested against the minister alleging that he was also responsible for splitting the party.
