Maoist, MJF cadres attack minister

RAJBIRAJ: Agitating cadres of the UCPN-Maoist and the Madeshi Janaadhikar Forum made an attempt to attack Shatrughan Prashad Singh Koiri, the State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism in Rajbiraj, Siraha on Thursday.
The angry agitators showed black flags to the minister and vandalised the vehicle carrying him.
At least six demonstrators including the MJF district secretary Ganga Yadav have been reported injured in a scuffle that ensued after the police intervened in the incident.
Currently, minister Koiri is in Siraha to attend the Biswakarma Puja.
