KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajantra Party (RPP) on Monday said that altogether 40 cadres of the UCPN-Maoist and the CPN-UML from Sindhupalchok district defected from the parties to join the RPP.

Releasing a press statement today, the RPP said that the newcomers officially entered the party amid a special programme organised by the party’s district committee in Sindhupalchok.
