Manang chopper crash lands

NEPALGUNJ : A Manang Air MI 8 helicopter carrying cargo with six persons including crew members crash landed at Rudikot helipad in Surkhet, 40 minutes after take-off, on Sunday morning.

The helicopter took off from Surkhet airport at around 9.30 am. It was carrying two passengers and four crew members.

A rescue mission is being readied according to an official at Nepalgunj Airport. The reasons for the crash are yet to be confirmed. More details are awaited.
