Man killed in accident

KATHMANDU: A man died in a road accident at Teenkune in the Capital on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identifed as 35-year-old Dawa Sherpa, a resident of Barhabise, Sindhupalchok. He was going towards the Tribhuvan International Airport on his motorbike when a tipper hit it, leaving him seriously injured.
He was rushed to the Kantipur Hospital at Teenkune where he succumbed to his injuries. The accident took place at 10 p.m. on Thursday. Police have impounded the tipper and held its driver in this connection.
