KATHMANDU: A man who returned from Malaysia has been arrested from the Customs Office at the Tribhuvan International Airport here in the Capital for smuggling in unrefined silver.
Without declaring what it was, Im Bahadur Majahi of Khandbari, Sankhuwasabha had brought six kilogram of silver along with him. He had touched down in Kathmandu, boarding a Biman Air flight on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the unrefined precious metal was in powder form and black in colour.
