SHANGHAI: Britain's Lewis Hamilton won the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday, beating Germany's reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel into second place.


Hamilton, in a McLaren, mounted a late charge and overtook Vettel's Red Bull with less than five laps to go at the Shanghai circuit.
