Jhapa social security allowance amounts to Rs. 260 M

BHADRAPUR: The government distributed over 260 million rupees as social security allowance in Jhapa district last fiscal year. The amount was distributed through the District Development Committee (DDC), Jhapa.
The DDC, Jhapa distributed Rs 267,242,900 as social security allowance to 52,780 individuals.
The DDC, Jhapa said the allowances were distributed under nine various headings as senior citizens allowances, the single women's allowance, allowance to the fully incapacitated persons, allowance to the partially handicapped people, allowance to the endangered indigenous nationalities, allowance to the marginalized communities like the Dalits and allowances to underprivileged children.
