Jhapa fire victim passes away

JHAPA: A girl who suffered severe burns when a fire broke out in Jhapa on Monday succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday night. She had been undergoing treatment in Siliguri in India when she passed away.

The deceased has been identified as Pinki Khatun15, daughter of Jawal Hak, a local resident of Saranamati 1, Jhapa.

12 houses were razed to the ground and more than eight lakhs worth of property was destroyed in the fire in Jhapa on Monday.
