Japanese aid makes school building a reality

Japanese social worker Takasi Honda inaugurated the building.

TANSEN: A school building has been constructed with the financial assistance of Saitama UNESCO Association, Japan. Dailatung Lower Secondary School based in Khanigaun-6 in Palpa district was constructed from Japanese support. Japanese social worker Takasi Honda inaugurated the building.


According to school headmaster Keshav Raj Kharal, the building was constructed at Rs 650,000 including Rs 440,000 from the Association. At the inaugural session, Chairman of the Association, Honda said that as many as 700 members of the Association collected the amount in a week.

Honda further said the Association has provided scholarships to 1000 students and constructed 63 school buildings in Nepal and added it will also continue the assistance in further days.
