KATHMANDU: The Janamorcha Nepal has formed a People's Commission for fighting against corruption rampant in the country.
Information about this was shared at a press meet organised in the capital on Thursday.
The Commission formed under the convenorship of party vice-chairman Birendra Karki comprises 11 members including party leader Prem Yadav and Gor Bahadur BK, it is learnt.
The party has protested the land encroachment reported in different places of the country by the Indian side and has drawn the attention of the government towards reducing foreign loan and controlling the incidents of crime increasing in the country.
According to information provided at the programme, the third national conference of the party has been scheduled to be held in the capital from December 16 to 18.
Meanwhile, the new faction of the party led by Sadhya Bahadur Bhandari has urged the government not to withdraw the cases of human rights violation took place during the Maoist insurgency and under-consideration of the court as well as not to grant amnesty to those people facing cases on the same charge at any cost.
