Irate over abduction case‚ businessmen close shops

SIRAHA: Shop owners and businessmen of Goalbazaar in Siraha have shut down shops and business activities on Monday in a bid to protest the kidnapping of the garment shop owner Bijaya Shah (24) of Asanpur-7.

Shah was abducted by an unidentified outfit on Saturday night, on his way back home from his shop at around 8:00 pm, according to Area Police Office, Gaolbazaar.

Goalbazaar-based businessmen have imposed a Chakkajam in Goalbazaar today demanding meticulous investigation into the kidnapping of Shah and book the culprit. Besides, the agitated businessmen have called for the security to businessmen.

Though police investigation into the case is underway, the motives and men behind the kidnapping are still not known.
