Int'l jurists award to Chief Justice

KATHMANDU:Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi has won the international jurists award 2012.
The award was handed over to him during the two-day international jurists conference that concluded on Saturday in New Delhi.
According to the Supreme Court, the award was handed over to Regmi by former Chief Justice of India KG Balkrishnan at the programme jointly organised by International Commission of Jurists, All India Bar Association and Indian Council of Jurists.
The chief justices of Canada, UK, South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh were decorated with the award, according to the apex court.
