KANCHANPUR: Indian border security force SSB has not allowed harvesting paddy in the land of two farmers of Bilasipur-1 in southern part of Kanchanpur district saying it was in Indian territory.
SSB of India seized more than ten katthas of land belonging to Kamalapati Bhatta and Suresh Bhatta which they had been cultivating for long.
The SSB has been terrorizing them saying the land near Dasgaja border pillar no. 34 was Indian land, said All Nepal Farmers Federation Central Member Khem Subedi.
SSB personnel terrorise Nepalese by entering the settlements from the border, he said.
The farmers have informed the Chief District Officer and District Police Office for releasing the land, said Subedi.
