Groups discussing Dahal's report in UCPN-Maoist plenum

KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist plenum is holding deliberations on party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's political report on Wednesday.
According to Bishwa Bhakta Dulal, coordinator of the plenum's publicity committee, nine out of 14 groups completed their discussion on Dahal's report till this noon.
The speakers stressed on ending factionalism in the party and asked the leadership to play a responsible role in preventing the ideological groups developing into factions.
Airing their views in support of Dahal, most of them, however, pointed out the need for implementation of the things incoporated in the political document.
The group leaders are collecting suggestions and views of the participants during the group discussions, which they are set to present in the meeting after 3 pm.
Dulal informed that Chairman Dahal will comment on the suggestions and opinions after that.
The seventh plenum of the party kicked off in Bhrikutimandap in the Capital yesterday.
