KATHMANDU: As the gold prices witnessed the lowest in the international market since August 2010, the yellow metal on Friday witnessed a decline in the domestic market as well despite the weakening Nepali rupee against the US dollar.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations (NEGOSIDA), Hallmark gold price decreased by Rs 1,400 and is being traded at Rs 48,100 per tola (11. 664 gram).
Similarly, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 47,851 per tola.
In the international market, the yellow metal is being traded at USD 1,200 per ounce (29.35 gram) today.
Likewise, silver price also declined by Rs 5 per tola. It is being traded at Rs 795 per tola today— the last trading day of the week.
