Former minister asked to submit vehicle

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has directed former Minister for General Administration Surya Man Gurung to immediately return the vehicle that he received from the state in capacity as the Minister.
The CIAA directive comes after the former Minister was found using the government-owned vehicle even after being relieved off the post of minister.
Meanwhile, the Commission has directed the police administration to hand over to the concerned ministry, department or office any vehicle found used illegally by any present or former office-bearers.
