POKHARA: Five more bodies of those who had gone missing in Seti River’s flash flood on Saturday were recovered on Tuesday. The death toll now has reached 26 and 43 are still missing. Of 26 confirmed dead so far, identities of 19 have been established. Kaski District Police Office said body of Chhesang Tamang was recovered from Kaskeri of Sardikhola and has been handed over to the family. Other four mutilated bodies were found from different places. Nepal Police, Nepali Army and Armed Police Force personnel continued rescue operation with three excavators and one bulldozer in Kharapani area on Tuesday as well. Rescuers are searching for missing in Machhapuchhre’s Sadal, Ebang, Karuwa and Jimirebari as well. Eight families of those killed in the flash flood were provided with relief packages on Tuesday.
