Five killed in separate incidents

TAULIHAWA: Two persons died when a motor bike (Ra 1 Kha 422) collided with a truck (Lu 4 Pa 8742) in Piparhawa, Kapilvastu on Saturday night.

The deceased have been identified as bike rider Bhakti Ram Bhusal, resident of Sitapur-4, Arghakachi and pillion rider Lekhnath Ghimire, resident of Thada-2, Arghakhachi. According to the police, the victims died during treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital in Butwal Rupandehi.

Meanwhile, Tej Bahadur Rai, resident of Tamku-2, Sankhuwasabha died when a boulder fell on him while he was returning home after tending to his herd. Likewise, Daman Karki and Kamala Kisan, residents of Titaure, Pala-8, Baglung were buried alive on Sunday morning when they were digging for mud to paint their house for Dashain.
