KATHMANDU: Fishtail Air Pvt Ltd will be operating four helicopters from March this year, the company said today.
“We are adding two more helicopters to our current fleet. One has arrived today which is on lease from an Indian company and the other will be bought from Italy soon,” said marketing manager of the company, Deepti Gurung.
“We started our helicopter service with one helicopter and now will have four in total,” said Gurung.
“Flying with us will be a great experience, as safety and satisfaction are our prime concerns. We always give our best to satisfy our passengers,” she said, adding that Fishtail Air has been able to make a prominent mark in the field of helicopter service in the country since its establishment.
Fishtail Air Pvt Ltd is a helicopter charter company established in the year 1997 under the Air Operators Certificate. The company operates helicopters service within Nepal, with its base in Kathmandu.
Since its commencement, the company has been actively involved in operation throughout the country with occasional Trans-border flights to neighbouring countries Bhutan and India.
Fishtail Air operates flights for sightseeing, rescue, medical evacuation, corporate movement, project support, and expedition works.
According to the company, it also operates support flights for ‘Heli-Trekking’. Aerial sightseeing flights over the heritage and tourist spots are quite popular these days, the company said.
