BHADRAPUR: Property worth millions of rupees turned into ashes with the outbreak of fire in Jhapa last night.
Physical materials including clothes, food stuffs worth around Rs 600,000 gutted when fire broke out from a tin-corrugated wooden house of Sumitra Gurung IN Damak-10, police confirmed.
Meanwhile, the inferno destroyed the property of Buddhi Shrestha, a tenant of the same house.
The blaze was doused with the collective effort of locals, Nepal Police and Armed Police within one hour of outbreak.
No human casualty has been reported in the incident however.
