KATHMANDU: Far-west region will return to normalcy from today, said two members of the Far West talks team who along with other 50 members are in Kathmandu to hold talks with government.
“We feel our demands have been partially addressed. Tuesday’s breakthrough resembles the same,” said Mahadev Bhajgain, member of the Far West talks team, talking to Avenues TV over phone.
The Tuesday’s meeting of the top political parties decided to resolve the disputes over territory by collecting public opinion and through the suggestions of the federal commission.
Similarly, Hari Regmi, talks team member from Dhangadi district told to Kantipur FM that chances are higher that bandh will be called off today.
For the past 19 days they have been imposing bandh upon the demand for intact far-west in the new constitution.
We will lift off the bandh by organising a press conference today, further said Bhajgain.
