Epidemic due to Maoists: Chaudhary

KATHMANDU: Minister for Health Umakanth Chaudhary on Thursday claimed that the failure of the Maoist-led government was the main cause of the spread of diarrhoea as an epidemic.
Addressing an interaction programme organised at the Reporters' Club in the capital, Chaudhary said that the past government failed to come up with the necessary preparations to cope with the diarrhoea outbreak. He further said that the present government was not formed when the diarrhoea outbreak turned into an epidemic killing a large number of people. He claimed that the present government had taken the necessary steps to control the epidemic since all the resources were being mobilised to reduce the casualties.

Who is this minister chaudhary? Instead of making newer and effective plans he was out to foreign nation. This person, cannot be described in words. Mr. Chaudhary, do you know what an "epidemic" means and what "endemic" means. How can you blame other people for an epidemic. Scks. Go there for a week, stay with those people and find out the cause of out break..may be water and sanitation ..rather than blaming all around you for useless. A person who does not have any idea about health is the health minister, and who doesnot know anything about defence is the defence minister, and the haruwa is th PM so how will we expect good results.In 21st century its a shame for the country to have seen people dying of a very treatable outbreaks, that also in hundreds. Please feel for the poor people who have been going through this please Dr. Sameer, ssssssss
