Eight injured in road mishap

CHAUTARA: A total of eight passengers were injured in a jeep accident at Jhyas of Lapsephedi VDC, the bordering VDC of Kathmandu with Sindhupalchowk district, Thursday morning.
The accident took place when the jeep (Ba 7 Cha 4604) heading towards Bhotechour from Kathmandu to bring milk fell some 100 meters off the road after being out of control.
Condition of the injured Kami Singh Ghalan and Lok Bahadur Bhujel of Lapsephedi VDC-8 is critical and are undergoing treatment at the Jorpati-based Medical College.
Other injured are undergoing treatment at health centers at Sankhu, according to the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk.
