LALITPUR: Minister for Finance Barsha Man Pun has urged all political parties to work for constitution-writing and national development with a strong willpower and commitment as the peace process was taken to a conclusion.
Laying foundation of a reservoir water tank to be constructed by the Lubhu Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumers' Organisation at Lubhu on the outskirts of Lalitpur district, Minister Pun said that the government would give priority for the construction of Lubhu-Lamatar-Panauti tourist route as this area was lagging behind in development despite its proximity to the Capital.
Also speaking on the occasion, State Minister for Federal Affairs, Constituent Assembly and Culture Sushma Sharma pledged to support the development of Lubhu area.
Likewise, Maoist lawmaker Rajkaji Maharjan said clean water and life was the main target of the area.
Total budget of the project is estimated around Rs 27 million.
