Delhi-bound man held with banned Indian bank notes

KATHMANDU: One man about to board a New Delhi-bound plane was arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport in possession of a cache of banned Indian bank notes worth IRs.1,12,000 on Monday night
During regular check, security personnel at the TIA found 47 notes in denomination of IRs 1,000 and 130 notes in denomination of IRs 500 from 28-year-old Bikram Baniya (28) of Mulpani-1, Dhading.
Police said they are looking into the case.
