LAHAN: Acting Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar on Tuesday laid the foundation of three bridges to be constructed in three places of Siraha district.
Amid a function organised at Bhadiya VDC-2, Gachhadar laid the foundation stone of a bridge going to be built over Mutani Khola. The bridge will be constructed at Rs. 20.82 million of the government.
Similarly, he also laid the foundation of a bridge at Taregana VDC-5 in eastern Siraha. The government is releasing Rs. 20.11 for the construction of the bridge. Once this bridge is constructed, it will connect Khotang, Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu districts.
Likewise, Gachhadar also laid the foundation stone of a bridge being constructed over Gagan Khola in the southern Kasaha. The government has set aside Rs. 60.55 million to construct this bridge.
