KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic), Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar has said the seven-point agreement signed by the political parties was a historic deal which would help country move in a positive direction.
Speaking at the special hour of the today's Legislature-Parliament meeting, DPM Gachchhadar said the country people are hopeful regarding the completion of the peace process and writing of new constitution following the seven-point agreement.
Also speaking on the occasion, General Secretary of the CPN-ML CP Mainali said his party had taken the agreement positively, and urged the parties to move ahead responsibly to implement the deal.
Lawmakers Chadrika Yadav, Bimal Kedia, Allauddhin Musalman, Kalpana Rana, Chandra Bahadur Gurung (Syangja), among others hailed the agreement.
The next meeting of the House is scheduled for November 11 at 1:00 pm.
